Adopt Me! Hit 24.5B Visits, more than Other two Titles Combined

Initially released for PC in 2006, the free-to-play gaming platform Roblox became an instant hit drawing millions of players from across the globe each day. By the mid-2020, over half of kids and teens under the age of 16 in the United States played the game. Other countries across the globe also witnessed a surge in the number of Roblox fans.

The Statista and Roblox data showed pet simulator Adopt Me! is the most popular Roblox game of all time, with over 24.5 billion visits as of last week, more than the other two titles on the list combined.

The second-ranked obstacle course Tower of Hell amassed 13.8 billion visits, around 2.5 billion more than MeepCity, which ranked as the third most popular Roblox game globally. Brookhaven and Piggy close the top five list, with 9.8 billion and 9 billion visits, respectively.

The user-generated gaming content and other immersive virtual experiences on the Roblox platform continue driving impressive user base growth.

The company’s official data showed that the number of daily active users hit an all-time high of 43.2 million in the second quarter of 2021, almost 30% more compared to a year-ago period. Nearly one-third of users, or 12.1 million, were from the United States and Canada as the largest Roblox market. Europe and Asia followed with 11.8 million and 7.2 million users, respectively.

This massive user base continues generating impressive revenue for the online gaming platform. The AppMagic data showed Roblox mobile was the fourth highest-grossing mobile game in the first half of the year, with close to $470 million in revenue.
